Mawasem

A seasonal online store and full operations dashboard for a retail brand.

The problem

A retail brand whose range changes with the seasons needed two things that work together: a store customers can shop in Arabic or English, organised by season, collection and brand, and a single dashboard where the team runs products, orders, delivery and staff.

Payments had to work with a local provider, delivery had to respect areas and free-delivery zones, and not every employee should be able to change everything.

What we built

One system with two faces: the store customers see, and the dashboard the team uses every day.

Shop by seasonCustomers browse by season, collection or brand, in Arabic or English, with the whole layout mirrored for each language.
Checkout that fits local deliveryOnline payment with Kashier, delivery areas with free-delivery zones, or pickup from the store.
Works on the phoneThe full store, cart and checkout work on a phone screen.
One dashboard to run the businessProducts, categories, collections, seasons, orders, customers and reports, with employees managed by role.

The hard parts we solved

Explained without the jargon.

01

One store, two directions

Arabic reads right to left, English left to right. We built every page so the whole layout mirrors, not just the words: menus, arrows, product grids and checkout steps all flip to feel native in each language.

02

Delivery fees that follow the address

Each delivery area has its own rules, and some get free delivery. The store works out the right option for the customer’s address before they pay, and customers can choose store pickup instead.

03

Every employee sees only their part

The dashboard runs the whole business, from products to reports, but not everyone should touch everything. Each employee has a role, and the role decides which screens and actions they can use.

Where it is now

Mawasem is live at www.mawasem.org, running on Azure App Service with Azure SQL and Blob Storage. Customers shop in Arabic and English, and the team runs the store from the dashboard.
